Madelyn had her baby shower August 2nd. The shower was so much fun. It was so nice to get together with family and friends to celebrate little MAdelyn. Everybody was WAY to generous. Before the shower I was feeling very unprepared for Madelyn, but let's just say that know we have everything we could possibly need. It was so much fun opening all those presents (and there were A LOT) and looking at all the cute clothes. Thank you so much for everybody who was able to come, especially my mom and Janice Blake. Janice hosted the shower and really made it very special. She made the yummiest homemade cupcakes, and I cheated off my diet that day to have one. They were so delicious!
Thank goodness my mom came over and helped me sort through all of the goodies. She even took all the laundry home to wash for me. Mothers are the greatest. She really helped relieve a lot of stress that day. We organized, cleaned, and she even made me dinner.
